Our History
For over 40 years, Faith Bible Christian School has served our community and provided a quality Christian education for thousands of students. The school was founded in 1976 with a single campus in Aloha and only 100 students. The school’s goal was to provide sound academic training while helping students develop Christian character.
Over the years, the facilities have changed a few times. In 1996, the high school moved to a separate campus in Hillsboro. As enrollment continued to grow, it was apparent more changes were needed. In 2018 the high school moved to a brand new Tanasbourne campus, and PK-8 took over the former high school location in Hillsboro. Still bursting at the seams, though, other moves were necessary. In 2020 the 7th and 8th grade classes moved to a brand new junior high campus, adjacent to the current high school; and then in 2023 the 6th grade class followed. This allowed all grades to continue expand, with greater educational opportunities at every level.
Although the school has grown and changed in some ways, now serving nearly 500 students, the focus remains on teaching every class from a Biblical worldview. Students receive personal attention and professional help from caring teachers who strive to provide a challenging academic environment, while developing the Christian character of the students.
