About

Campus Safety

Providing a safe and secure learning environment is a top priority at Faith Bible Christian School. This is why both campuses are closed campuses and get regular safety audits from an assigned resource officer from the Hillsboro Police Department.
We regularly evaluate our security measures and procedures, to be sure we are best protecting the students you entrust to us. These measures include the following:

  • Sign-in and Sign-out of elementary students
  • Check-in of all volunteers and visitors
  • Visible badges for all staff, volunteers, and visitors
  • Background check process for all staff, regular volunteers, and chaperones
  • Recess and lunchroom oversight by staff
  • Fenced and locked elementary campus
  • Access-control secured doors at all campuses
  • Monitored fire and security systems
  • Cameras throughout all campuses
  • Paging system to quickly communicate to entire campus
  • Emergency drills Notification systems for parents, in case of closure or emergency
  • Staff trained in first-aid and CPR

  • Visiting Campus

All visitors must check in at the office upon entering the building. You will be asked to sign in and out, and are required to wear a visitor’s badge. Alumni are welcome to come back to the high school campus to visit, but are asked to visit during lunchtime or after school.
  • Volunteering

All volunteers must have a background check before they can volunteer or drive students other than their own to school events. Background checks can be submitted through our FalconLink portal.
